New Look!

For those of you who have been visiting my blog tonight you can see I've been trying on new backgrounds the way I do shoes.  Not all are a good fit!  They look great on the designer's web site then I put them on mine and they look so different.  Not sure if I'll keep it but change is good.
I've been looking at old pics of Gracie.  Look at how little she is at 8 weeks!!!

Let me know how you like the new background!

  5. I like your background. The borders look like they have been sewn zig zagged to the center.

Gracie always makes your blog look pretty!

  6. I always love anything red. The sidebar is lovely and the coffee center is a nice resting place. Nice job. Give Gracie a pat from me.

  7. I just noticed what you are reading. I thought I'd read all her books - Katherine and Green Darkness being particular favorites. But I don't recall H&E. Did you pick it up because of your Massachusetts connection? Enjoy; Seton is always a good read. May I recommend The Wedding Officer by Anthony Capella? I just recently finished it and it was WONDERFUL!

  8. Katherine I loved "The Winthrop Woman". . . . .the time period, how it was written etc. This one caught my eye too because of the Massachusettes connection and because I have ancestors that were fisherman/whalers in Maine (surname Small). I love historical fiction novels!

  9. Diane, I love your new blog. If I may humbly add that for me the background for the text is a little too dark...my eyes have to strain to read the text. I love seeing pictures of Gracie...she's beautiful! I still miss my golden, Rosie.

  10. I agree that the background is too dark. It bothers me too so let me see what I can do. :)
