Layout of the sampler

Vonna emailed me this morning and she said there were some stitchers on her blog concerned about odd numbers of people in the sampler and that maybe I should provide a peek into an arrangement.  So here you go!  I have provided you with a few fill-in elements if you don't have pets.  And by the way. . . . . there are six dogs and three cats on the elements page to choose from.
If there are any more questions, just post them here, subscribe to the thread and I'll answer as soon as I can!

  1. Oh Diane, this is going on my Must Have list! Even if mine only contains me, my pup and my kitty! :)

Of course I could always try for the whole fam damily, as my father used to say. Do you think I could squeeze a Mom, Dad and 9 children?

    LOL

Okay, I guess I could always do one for each of my siblings families. :)

  8. Kathy it's funny that you should post to this thread. If you look at my sampler you'll see three dogs but only Gracie is still alive. I can so totally see you adding dogs from "then" and "now"! And you'll see too in the pack, you can add fencing to fill in gaps. Or maybe two of you. . . . .one young, one older with ALL of your pets! In the place of the surname you could put "FAMILY" or even your first name.

  9. I'm somewhat patiently waiting for this to hit the shops...hehe I'm thinking of putting my husband & me on one side of the tree and our three kids on the other. With an added motif on the left, two adults should balance three kids.

Don't forget the hare in Herb Garden! I like his fluffy white tail. :-)

  11. Diane, It is a beautiful sampler and I thank you for trying to make everybody happy. I love the fact that there are doggies, as I have no children, so now, I will definitely buy this sampler and stitch it !!

  12. Diane, I never thought of that! Of course I have one (or both) of those patterns so that will work perfectly :o) I also like the idea of putting past puppies on your sampler. It's almost been a year since Brie has been gone but I still miss her dearly.
